Progress continues but donations still needed

Construction is ongoing at the site of the custom home being built for a disabled veteran and his family but monetary contributions as well as donations of supplies and labor are needed to help complete the worthy cause.

Originally from Grandview, Marine Cpl. Cody Jones will be an Ennisite once the mortgage-free brick abode is complete. Jones lost his left leg and part of his right foot in an IED explosion while serving in Afghanistan in 2012. He was selected last year by Home for the Brave (HFTB) as the local group’s first recipient of a residence built and fitted out especially to accommodate a recent war veteran with physical challenges.
