Zoning board of adjustments and appeals meets Tuesday

Ennis’ city Board of Adjustments and Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, Feb. 2, at 5:30 p.m., at the city commission chambers.

The agenda includes a public hearing and consideration as may be appropriate regarding a proposed variance for 604 E. Milam, St., which would allow a new home to be built 10 feet into a 25-foot setback. The request was made by Patrick Cummings and Madelyn Long (owner).

Also on the agenda is the election of a new chairperson and approval of the June 9, 2015, minutes.
