Color Guard to march Saturday

Newest among organizations in Ennis for U.S. veterans, the Marine Corps League, which will be a year old in June, will be represented by a color guard in the Polka Parade on Saturday. Marching behind a group banner will be Robert Bell and Patrick Fullerton, who will be bearing flags, along with riflemen Dane Williams and Eddie Salazar. Side-by-side, the foursome – flags in the middle, flanked by M1 rifle guards – are scheduled to march during the 10 a.m. parade. Bell, the commandant of the MCL, says the group will adorn black pants and shoes to go with white shirts. Read stories like this and more in your latest edition of The Ennis News.
