Commission approves IOOF Park pavillion

In a narrow 4-3 vote, the Ennis City Commission approved an additional $50,000 for IOOF Park at Fairview for the construction of a pavilion. The city had already approved $125,000 for park
improvements, but commissioner Marco Hernandez said additional monies are needed to install a pavillion. “I originally asked for $175,000 for this project but we settled on $125,000,” said Hernandez, “But we really need a pavilion out there.
