Community aids stricken family

Moriah Gonzales, 15, was found dead off Knighthurst Road in Ennis on March 17. Fundraising efforts to aid the family in the aftermath of the killing are proliferating around the county.

The family and friends of slain 15-year-old Moriah Gonzales are reaching out to the community for help with the various expenses in the wake of her death.

April Carrillo, a friend of the family, said there are two bank accounts set up in the family’s name to help defray funeral costs.

Donations can be made to the Moriah Gonzales account at the Wells Fargo branch in Waxahachie, and at any Citizens National Bank.

Donations can be mailed to Citizens National Bank, P.O. Box 717, Waxahachie, TX 75168.
