Congressman Barton turns clerk at E-Z Mart

Congressman Joe Barton of Texas’ sixth congressional district participated in a National Association of Convenience Stores “in store event” from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the E-Z Mart, located at 1015 S. Kaufman Street.

The congressman interacted with E-Z Mart employees and learned from CEO Sonja Hubbard what the store means to residents. Barton also received clerk training and went behind the counter to help with the checkout process.
