Cops flock to Walmart protest

Ennis Daily News photo by Phil Banker / People organized a protest outside Walmart on Thursday, and marchers held signs with messages like “Stop Retaliation,” “An injury to one is an injury to all” and “I want to work full time.”

Protestors gathered outside Walmart on Thursday afternoon demonstrating in favor of higher wages, more hours and better working conditions.

The demonstration was organized by Organization United for Respect at Walmart, a group of Walmart workers and activists who believe the chain treats workers unfairly.
