Judge Little Presides Over First Commissioners Meeting

Ellis County Commissioners met on Wednesday January 2, 2019 to consider a light agenda under new County Judge Todd Little. All four commissioners were in attendance. Little called the meeting to order after a motion and second by the commissioners. Following the invocation and pledges, the Commissioners read and approved the consent agenda. The first item concerned the approval of bids for street material. Commissioners considered the information given them in the bid for cost of material and delivery of that material to the different precincts. All but one of the bidders had the information on cost of delivery and that vendor was excluded on the motion to approve the bids. The motion was approved and asked for the information on the excluded vendor be updated and presented at the next Commissioner’s Court meeting on January 8.
