Delivery goes awry

Ennis Daily News photo by Phil Banker / This 18-wheeler tangled with a second semi on U.S. 287 Tuesday, overturning and spilling gallons of milk in its wake.

One man was airlifted to Parkland Hospital after the milk truck he was driving took crashed on U.S. Highway 287 Tuesday morning, spilling a truckload of milk onto the roadside.

Trooper Clarence Jackson Jr. of the Texas Highway Patrol said the milk truck was driving behind a second truck when the first turned right into J&K Excavation.
