EISD could name new chief by Tuesday


Decision making about who among three final candidates for the vacant school superintendent position will require a few more days according the Ennis Independent School District. Once the list of 72 applicants was whittled down to three, two of them reportedly men, the EISD Board of Trustees, the interim superintendent Lloyd Treadwell and a representative from the hired search committee scheduled individual meetings with the trio this past week. They included further talks, a tour of Ennis and a dinner, not necessarily in that order, which took place over three days last week.
