EISD gets clean audit

The Ennis ISD Board of Trustees received a clean bill of financial health from its auditors on Tuesday night during their monthly meeting.

Andrew Moore, a certified public accountant with Judd, Thomas, Smith and Company, P.C., said his company presented a “clean opinion” of the district’s financial statements for the year ending Aug. 31, 2013.

“No instances of fraud or other failure of fiduciary duty were found,” Moore said.
