EISD super: District should still excel

Ennis ISD Superintendent Barbara Qualls said she expects the district to do well according to new accountability measures coming out this August.

Texas Commissioner of Education Michael L. Williams announced Tuesday that the 2013 school accountability system would not only take into account student achievement and progress, but also post-secondary readiness and closing the achievement gaps between white and wealthy students and non-white and poor students.
