EMS successor could be Care Flight

After announcing recently that East Texas Medical Center would no longer have a contract with Emergency Medical Services for Ennis area residents, the City of Ennis has indicated a solution is in the works.

At the next scheduled meeting of the City Commission, according to City Manager Chuck Ewings, a recommendation for Care Flight to step in and provide the same service will be on the agenda.
