Ennis alum shines in Agnes of God


Rising to taste the dawn of her realized dreams, 2014 Ennis High School graduate Cassidy Hortman auditioned for and surprisingly won the lead for a local play. In doing so, she has astounded many, least of all herself. “I was involved in theater in high school,” she said this week, “but only as a crew member. I have always been so shy, not-comfortable at all in the spotlight.” Still, the 22-year old grew up as a movie buff. “I loved movies as a kid,” she explained. “Recalling quotes and great lines, I loved play-acting the scenes.” Read stories like this and more in your latest edition of The Ennis News.
