Ennis Sewing Circle Quilt Show


The Ennis Sewing Circle is celebrating it’s 60th anniversary with a free quilt show on Sunday, Mar. 11 from 2 to 4 pm at the Sokol Hall in Ennis and is free to the public. The show will feature “The Supper Quilt” by Dr. Don Locke, DDS. The wall-hanging measuring 15’3”x5’7”, made of 52,816 half inch squares of 350 different fabrics. It was inspired by Leonard Davinci’s “The Last Supper”. Dr. Locke spent approximately 1200 hours over a two and a half year period before finishing in September 1999.
