EPD looking for white truck used in thefts

The Ennis Police Deaprtment is asking for assistance in locating a white Chevrolet pickup truck that is believed to have been used in a number of local burglaries. EPD Officer Roger Cole said in an Ennis Police Crime Watch video released on Facebook Thursday that the public is “one of its greatest assets in solving crimes.” Cole added that help from citizens is particularly needed to identify the criminal responsible for a barrage of thefts linked to the vehicle in question. The white truck has distinctive damage to the driver’s side near the door. “If you recognize that truck or know who drives that truck, we’re asking you to please contact the EPD at 972-875-4462,” Cole announced. The white Chevy truck is believed to have been spotted in the commission of crimes in Ennis and surrounding communities. “It’s important that we get a hold of this person,” Cole said. “It’s important that we put him out of business.” Readers are encouraged to call the EPD at 972-875-4462 with any sightings or other leads. Cole pointed out that all tips are welcome. “If you see something, say something,” he said.
