Exemplary student dons 2 caps, gowns

One area teen managed to walk across the stage to receive an associate’s degree weeks before matriculating at Rice High School this May.

Leanne Evans participated in the Navarro College graduation on May 12, even with 12 hours remaining to complete for a general studies associate’s degree from the institution. She graduated in the top 10 percent of her class from Rice High School on May 26.
