Ferris votes against concealed weapons in city buildings

During a meeting of the Ferris City Council on Monday, members were requested by the city manager to prohibit concealed handguns from two additional buildings that are used for governmental business. The measure passed by a 3-1 vote.

The city had previously prohibited concealed handguns from the municipal court as well as the council chambers.
