Fitness Court opens at Jaycee Park Grand opening Saturday, Oct. 20

Ennis has been awarded an outdoor Fitness Court, a state-of-the-art facility available for free public use after its grand opening at noon on Saturday, Oct. 20. Located along Old City Lake at Jaycee Park (2300 Park St.), Ennis was one of 100 cities chosen to receive the court as part of the 2018 National Fitness Campaign. The project makes world-class fitness free and accessible in public spaces. The Fitness Court is an outdoor body weight circuit training gym, featuring all-level workouts that can be completed in just seven minutes a day. It is suitable for adults of all fitness abilities and completely free of cost. By pairing the Fitness Court with its free mobile app, users can take classes, learn routines, and get fit, all at Jaycee Park.
