Garrett readies for roundup

Residents with outstanding warrants in Garrett could get visits from officers during an upcoming roundup.

Residents with outstanding warrants with the city of Garrett might want to get them taken care of today. Otherwise, they may be getting a visit from Garrett’s finest starting this weekend.

Garrett is taking part in the Statewide Texas Warrant Round-up from Feb. 25 to March 4. Police will be searching for defendants with outstanding warrants for class C misdemeanor violations and arrest them at home, school or work.
