Houston’s new lab sparks students’ drive to discover

Students and teachers at Sam Houston Elementary are putting the school’s new science lab through its paces during its first semester in existence.

Houston Principal Linda Southard said thanks to a $2,500 grant from Dallas Area Rapid Transit, the school was able to convert one classroom into a science lab.
