‘I’m following a legacy’

Three weeks since Ennis High School horticulture teacher Kelly Boston’s sudden passing, his legacy continues to surface on campus as a lasting impact.

Students and staff alike are not only feeling the void but, more powerfully, are reflecting on his influence in their lives with a myriad of expressions. His horticulture classroom bears creative statements on the marker-board, on walls and in a pair of his size-13 shoes that have been placed on a shelf for all to see.
