Impact Ennis collecting unused drugs

IMPACT Ennis, a program of Drug Prevention Resources, is hosting its semi-annual prescription drug “Take Back” event on Saturday, Oct. 28. Police officers will collect unused and expired prescription and over-the-counter medications between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the Ennis ISD Administration Building, 303 Knox Street. Area law enforcement officers participate in the national initiative by the Drug Enforcement Administration, which is designed to reduce the availability of unmonitored medications in home medicine cabinets. The project is marking its 14th DEA take-back day. Read the full story and more in your Weekend edition of The Ennis News. Be informed, subscribe today!
