During the month of January, the Student Council at both Jack Lummus and Dorie Miller Intermediate Schools conducted a fundraiser to collect money for purchasing a paver brick in memory of their school namesakes.

These engraved bricks will be placed in the Ennis Veteran’s Memorial Park. The students of both schools were asked to bring in a dollar each and were allowed to wear a camouflage shirt and jeans in exchange. The schools combined to raise around $600 for the cause.
