Investors to tap city incentives

George Wartsbaugh and Ross Massengill, the co-owners of the MW Emporium building at the corner of Ennis Avenue and Dallas Street, are going to be among the first filing for support from Ennis for rejuvenation work on their downtown property.

The pair had already done considerable work on the property, one among the five downtown structures that were heavily damaged by the May 16 tornado, when the city began working on the incentives programs recently approved. The help is going to make a big difference, Wartsbaugh said.
