Jimenez case inches forward

More than three months after Connie Jimenez’s lifeless body was found in an Ennis creek, Ellis County Sheriff’s investigators released new information on the cause of her death.

Sgt. Rick White said Friday autopsy results confirm Jimenez, known commonly as Connie Martinez, died from drowning and the toxic effects of cocaine.
