Lady Lions roll on

Lady Lion softball had high expectations this season, but few team members probably saw an 11-0 start looming.

Ennis remained unbeaten on Friday in the Brewer Tournament with victories over 5A North Crowley and Ft. Worth Brewer.

Ennis 11, North Crowley 5

The game ended on a time limit after North Crowley batted in the top of the fourth. Ennis finished with more hits (10-4) and fewer errors (2-3).

“That was a weaker team that we should’ve beaten handily and we did,” said coach Rodney McNeill.
