Leggett & Platt recycle, donate 16 bicycles

Workers and volunteers at Leggett & Platt recently reused, recycled several bicycles as part of its 2018 Bicycle Recycle Community Project. Last month Leggett & Platt asked its partners and the community to donate unwanted bicycles to be recycled. Some 31 bicycles were donated and a team of volunteers and partners worked hard on restoring the bikes that could be saved and recycled. Workers were able to keep everything with the exception of two pounds of waste out of the landfill. After a week of work, partners were able to restore a total of 16 bicycles. All 16 bicycles were donated to the Ennis Boys & Girls Club just in time for school. Read stories like this and more in your latest edition of The Ennis News. Be informed, subscribe today!
