Lions claw Cougars 29-22

The Ennis Lions (4-0, 1-0) added their name to the list of teams who won their district opener games at home with a 29-22 victory over the Arlington Seguin Cougars (2-2, 0-1).

Every home team in the 15-4A district won their games this week. “It’s great to get a first win for district. That’s really great,” Lion defensive end James Lockhart said. “Like coach Alvarez says, don’t be satisfied. We have to work harder.”
