Local auto repair shop collecting socks for veterans

“You’ll be fine. Take two aspirin and change your socks.” – Every Navy Hospital Corpsman Ever. Each year Automotive Training Institute (ATI) holds a conference to help business owners of auto repair shops hone their business skills. Each year, ATI also chooses a charity to donate items or money towards. This year ATI chose “Soldier’s Angels” who take to veterans either at the VA or those who are deployed one of the most requested items by the veterans: SOCKS. Eric’s Garage owner, Eric Trojacek, and his wife will be leaving for the conference early on March 20. “The last day to bring socks by the shop will probably be Tuesday, March 19,” Trojacek said. The shop is located at 801 Lake Bardwell Dr. and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Socks can be donated at the shop during business hours.
