Lummus earns thousands with pancake fundraiser

Donations piled up like pancakes on paper plates Saturday morning at Jack Lummus Intermediate School.

Principal Lori Redning said the school’s annual pancake breakfast fundraiser took in $36,000, not counting expected corporate donations.

“This is our best year yet,” she said.
