While it may take a few weeks to feel like Christmas, the City was lit up with the look and spirit of the holidays during Thursday’s annual Downtown Block Party and Lights of Ennis Parade. Crowds lined the streets for the arrival of floats, music, illuminated vehicles – not to mention band members, and Santa and Mrs. Claus atop an Ennis fire truck. Businesses and organizations joined in by participating in block party or the parade, all bringing glowing smiles to the faces of young and old.
