Man busted for pot haul

Police confiscated 1,300 pounds of marijuana following a traffic stop on Interstate 70 near Indianapolis. Ennis resident Michael Zmolik was allegedly the driver of the vehicle.

An Ennis man was arrested Friday for dealing marijuana and possession of marijuana over 10 pounds, according to Indiana State Police.
ISP said 42-year-old Michael Zmolik was arrested when Indiana State Police seized 1,300 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on Interstate 70 near Indianapolis.
The approximate street value of the marijuana is $134,000, police said.  In the vehicle, police allegedly found 29 bales of processed marijuana being transported in two large metal containers. Zmolik was arrested and taken to the Marion County Arrestee Processing Center.
