Maverick Metal premiers new plasma cutter

Maverick Metal celebrated their Annual Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday with the roll-out of their new state of the art custom plasma cutter. Plasma cutting is a process that cuts through electrically conductive materials by means of an accelerated jet of hot plasma. Typical materials cut with a plasma torch include steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass and copper, although other conductive metals may be cut as well. Brad Lane (owner) and Eddie Lane (fabrication engineer) indicated that with the use of the plasma table they will be able to expand their business by providing a service to the general public, as well as to contractors and builders, and add the ability to sell on-line products. Serving Ennis and the surrounding areas for 17 years, Brad, Debbie and Eddie are excited for the possibilities that the future holds.
