Me & Mom LOOK-A-LIKE CONTEST
This year’s winners of the 2nd Annual Me & Mom Look-ALike contest are Kendra and Velvie Thomas of Ennis. Kendra is a caregiver with Veteran’s Hospital in Dallas and Velvie is a 10th grader at Ennis High School. “Oh my gosh, oh my gosh I cannot believe we won,” said Kendra after receiving a call to announce she and Velvie had won top place. Kendra said some of the activities she and her daughter enjoy doing together include pampering themselves by getting their nails done among many other things. Sometimes they are small activities and generally revolve around spending quality time together. Kendra will be the first to admit that Velvie not only looks like her, but also has her personality.
