Meals-on-Wheels gets boost

A steel mill has stepped forward to help stem the rising tide of hunger in the local Meals-on-Wheels service area.

The Gerdau steel mill in Midlothian has pledged to donate more than $178,000 worth of structural and reinforcement steel to the Meals-on-Wheels of Johnson and Ellis counties kitchen campaign.
