Miss Texas to appear at EISD

Kendall Morris, the reigning Miss Texas and product of Ennis schools, will take time on Friday, May 25 to share her experiences with those who look upon her as a positive role model.

She will meet with the girl students who attend fourth, fifth and sixth grades at Lummus and Miller intermediate schools at a special morning assembly at Ennis High School Auditorium.

The schedule is as follows: Fourth grade (9 a.m.), fifth grade (10 a.m.), and sixth grade (11 a.m.).

Morris is also scheduled to visit Houston Elementary School at 1 p.m. Friday. It is part of a busy schedule she has over the weekend serving as Grand Marshal of the Polka Festival in Ennis.
