Ennis is officially welcoming Christmas to this community on Thursday with a host of free features running alongside the annual Parade of Lights.

On top of the 7 p.m. parade, which boasts more than 50 float entries and always draws a crowd, open houses, musical performances and a free appearance by Santa Claus will all be a part of the occasion.
