Police chase ends a Lake Bardwell boat ramp

Ennis police said they arrested one man after he led police on a chase that wound through town and several city streets on Thursday night. Police said they tried to pull Joshua Rhone, 21, of Ennis over in the 600 block of East Decatur Street about 9:30 p.m. Police said Rhone, who was driving a black Kia, then turned on Jones Street would not pull over and led police on a chase that included several streets, such as Hall Street. Police said also said they observed Rhone throw something from the vehicle, believed to be contraband during the chase. However they were not able to recover it.
