A man allegedly put his young son at risk Saturday morning by driving intoxicated on Interstate 45.

Lt. Ron Roark of the Ennis Police Department said Officer Jason McCurdy responded to a call regarding a white Chevrolet van driving recklessly on northbound Interstate 45 shortly after 10:15 a.m. Saturday. The van passed McCurdy, after which he watched as the van change lanes without signalling, cutting off another driver.
