Runoff early voting begins Monday

Ennis voters will have the chance to cast ballots in several runoff elections starting Monday, most notably in the races for Texas State Representative and Ellis County Precinct 2 Commissioner.

Nancy Byers with the Ellis County Elections Administration said early voting for the May 27 runoff election begins Monday, May 19 and will continue through Friday, May 23. Ennis voters will be able to vote early from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ellis County Sub-Courthouse located at 207 S. Sonoma Trail.

Local races on the ballot include runoffs for the State Representative race and the runoff for Ellis County Precinct 2 Commissioner.
