School remembers

Students and teachers gathered at Crockett Early Childhood Center on Wednesday to say goodbye to former student Ashton Weaver in their own way.

Crockett teacher Sharon Colleps dedicated the school’s butterfly enclosure to Weaver, who died earlier this year of leukemia at the age of 11. She finally released the butterflies on Wednesday.
