Ennis graduation will sound much better – May 31 commencement to have new audio system


Graduation is always music to the ears of seniors and to the Ennis Marching Band, it’s Pomp & Circumstance on an endless loop. Friday’s Class of 2019 commencement exercises, with first year EHS Principal Wade Bishop, the Board of Trustees and Interim Superintendent Lloyd Treadwell, in his final public service before Jay Tullos assumes the role, will be among many teachers and administrators in the May 31 ceremony at Lion Memorial Stadium. Starting time is set for 7:30 p.m. Most all regular features at graduation will remain, though a change in ownership at Ennis Ford led to direct scholarships to area students rather than one with perfect attendance receiving a new, free car.
