Speech Team Shines in East Texas Ennis Takes 2nd in Field of 20


Ennis students performed exceptionally well last week in Palestine by finishing second in the Piney Woods East Texas Tournament. Sponsored by the University Interscholastic League, the sanctioned event saw Team Maroon accomplish much against 20 high schools. Students and those who coached them in the various subjects and divisions are to be commended. Lynn Mangus managed three teams, each claiming first place, while Eric Adams also coached three teams, winning a first place, second place and a fourth place.
