Six to stand trial in May for gang-linked slaying

The six people charged in connection with the 2013 murder of Henry Fabian Villatoro are tentatively set for trial May 13.

Amy Lockhart, the Ellis County and District Attorney’s Office’s new chief prosecutor, is set to try cases against the six Irving residents arrested in the case: Victoria Alejandra Velsaquez Navarette, 16; Abel Martinez, 19; Rafael Morales-Perez, 19; Fredy Martinez-Rodriguez, 24; Inmer Garcia, 24; and Roberto Lopez-Martinez, 18.
