Super’s evaluation on tap

The Ennis ISD School Board has scheduled a special meeting for 6 p.m. tonight to continue evaluation of Superintendent Barbara Qualls’s contract, as well as to continue setting the “long-term and short-term goals of the district.”

Board President Bramlet Beard said Qualls’ evaluation would continue at a later date at the end of the board’s May 14 meeting. That meeting saw the swearing-in of new trustee Julie Pierce and Beard, who returned as an unopposed incumbent.
