Taste of Ennis a success

Hungry folks from Ennis and points beyond filled the Knights of Columbus Hall on Thursday night for the 22nd annual Taste of Ennis fundraiser. The event raised $32,000 thanks to donations and sponsorships before tickets were sold. Helping Hands of Ennis Executive Director Judi Hejny said this year's event brought more people and restaurants than ever before. Taste of Ennis is Helping Hands' primary fundraiser for the year, Hejny said, and supplements their allotment from the Greater Ennis United Way.
