A town hall meeting meant for state health officials to educate the public on the realities of Ennis High School’s tuberculosis outbreak Wednesday night quickly devolved into anger and fear.
Several school officials, including EISD Superintendent Barbara Qualls and EHS Principal David Averett weathered accusations from enraged parents that the school wasn’t doing enough to protect their children.
