Time to pick ‘Best of the Best’

Who has the freshest flowers? Who do you trust with your vehicle? Whose pepperoni pizza can you not live without? Who gave the greatest haircuts? What’s the best motel for your guests to stay? Who takes the best care of your teeth?

These, and many other questions, will be answered in the near future.

By you.

The Ennis Daily News today released its ballot for its annual Best of the Best Contest. This contest gives our readers an opportunity to tell us, and the community, what they think about local businesses, products, service providers and others in our community.

The reader’s choice contest form can be found in editions of the EDN. Cut this page from the newspaper, cast your ballot by filling in the lines with the names of businesses or individuals, sign your name to the ballot, and deliver it to us. The deadline to submit it is Friday, Sept. 11. Forms can be dropped off at the Ennis Daily News office or mailed to us at P.O. Box 100, Ennis, 75120.

Filling out the survey and returning it could earn you some cold, hard cash. After the surveys are counted, the EDN will award cash prizes of $75, $50, $25 to three of those who submitted completed and returned surveys. All lines must be completed to be eligible for the cash prizes. The EDN will draw the winning surveys on Sept. 18 and announce the winners of the cash prize in the paper.
The EDN will announce the top choices for each category in a special section published in late September.
