Waxahachie’s mayor joins race

Waxahachie Mayor John Wray has launched a campaign for the Republican nomination for State Representative District 10, the seat being vacated this spring by longtime House budget chair Jim Pitts.

In an announcement Monday, five-year councilman Wray bills himself as a fiscal and pro-family conservative, and said he wants to take conservative values to Austin.
